![]() She is using her time off from a show where she is the lead role, to fulfill a vision on a show that made the decision to let her go pursue bigger things. She has two young kids that she already has to spend a great deal of time away from. Most people will not accept it until it actually plays out on screen, but if Kevin was going to end up with someone other than Sophie, Alex Breckenridge would not have continued to sacrifice her time to continue in this role. Point is… she is not going anywhere and them bringing her in at the very end just lines up with what the vision has been in place all along. I have a feeling Sophie will show up at some point during the Kevin centric episode. Sophie is around in present day or in the 5 year flash forward (probably both). Honestly this is all adding up and the ending seems pretty clear. The seeds are there and waiting for pay off.Īt the end of the day: I hope the characters (all involved Kevin Sophie Madison etc) find their happiness. So in the theme of the realm of TV: I'm leaning to where I see the love and where I see the growth of two characters and I really believe that to be Kevin and Sophie. If Kevin was knocking on the door of my best friend who happened to be Sophie, would I say oh my God you have to get back together with him? No.īut, would I say that to Madison as her friend with a guy who couldn't even admit he loved her? Also no. It isn't about him making a cider brewing company and calling it "How Do You Like Them Apples?"ĭid they finish the movie yes? But, I think it's the ending waiting for them: Kevin is going to see about a girl. ![]() It isn't about him becoming an ice fisherman in Alaska. Well I think everyone is forgetting exactly what the ending of the movie really is. ![]() Many people's point on this forum (which may ultimately go on to prove true too) is they finally finished the movie and therefore they must be over too for good. I think one of the biggest misleads that's going to play out down the line is the very thing that people thing cemented their closure: Good Will Hunting. With that said, I do personally think there are a lot more signs leading to Sophie being Kevin's end game. Makes the ride more enjoyable in my opinion. Trying to piece together all of the pieces to make guesses to how it will all end. I really hope that the pay off of the show is rewarding for all in some way or the other and I cannot wait to see it all play out. especially today.Īdmittedly, I am a Kevin and Sophie fan and looking for open, friendly discussion and not a shipping war :) I know this topic has been there and done that.
